Spiaggia di Caito / Simeto (Naturist & Cruising)

South of the city where the Simeto river meets the sea, the wild dunes and pinewoods of the Oasi del Simeto include a long-established naturist and gay-cruising stretch, sometimes known as Spiaggia di Caito. It's a natural, unserviced beach reached by track from the coast road and busiest on summer days, so a car helps. Naturism here is informal and tolerated rather than official; keep the usual discretion, take your litter home, and be aware it's an isolated spot — go in daylight and ideally not alone.
