Chișinău Pride 2026 is the annual march and festival of the Moldovan LGBTQ+ community, organised by GENDERDOC-M and held in the centre of the capital. The march proceeds through the city's main streets with police protection and draws several hundred participants, including solidarity delegations from Romania, Germany, and other EU countries. The event has been held since 2002, making it one of the longest-running Pride events in the post-Soviet space. Counter-demonstrations from Orthodox Church-affiliated and nationalist organisations are an expected feature, but the march itself has proceeded in recent years under improved police protection as Moldova's EU integration process has strengthened the government's incentives to protect it. Pride week programming includes film screenings, panel discussions and community events at the GENDERDOC-M centre. The event is the most significant annual moment of public LGBTQ+ visibility in Moldova.
