What reviewers say

Visitors consistently praise the hotel's superb location, directly connected to the central train station, making travel from the airport and exploring the city very easy. However, some guests found the rooms to be small, and a few noted a lack of tea and coffee facilities in the rooms or lobby.

About this place Comfort Hotel Grand Central

This budget hotel is in Oslo Central Station, making it dead simple to get around Norway's capital.

Rooms here are uniquely decorated, with flat-screen TVs; some even look out onto Jernbanetorget square. You get free WiFi, an on-site restaurant, a tiny grocery shop, and a 24-hour gym. Practical stuff, whether you're here for work or fun.

Oslo’s LGBTQ+ scene is spread out, but most of it’s easy enough to get to from this spot. You’re also close to the Opera House and Akershus Fortress, which dates back to the 13th century. Plenty to see beyond the gay bars, then.

This isn't a luxury stay. It’s for people who want a good deal and a practical base, not fancy extras. Being right at the central station means public transport, restaurants, and nightlife are all at your fingertips. For LGBTQ+ visitors who want to see Oslo’s culture without breaking the bank, it’s a straightforward choice.

Probably the most overpriced and underserving hotel i ever got.

The location was perfect! But my room was the only one at a long floor which felt slightly off and it was very cold and the thermostat didn’t work. When I asked for help, they simply said that one can't do anything about it. I had to insist very much. Also, my room never closed automatically when leaving- I had to close the door several times until it worked. And the internet connection barely worked which was difficult since I was on a business trip. I never had so many issues to complain about which feels slightly inappropriate to the price.
