Pinokyo is a gay bar on Büyük Parmakkapı Sokak, a side street off İstiklal Caddesi in Beyoğlu that has several of Istanbul's gay bars. It's a drinks-and-music bar that gets busier and louder later at night, with a mostly local, mostly male crowd. It has over 900 Google reviews averaging 4.1. It opens every night from 17:00 until 04:00, and midnight onward at weekends is the busiest time. Same-sex relationships are legal in Turkey, but Pride has been banned in Istanbul since 2015 and venues keep a low profile. Avoid public displays of affection on the street, watch your drinks, and be careful with men who approach you inside and quickly suggest moving on somewhere else.

Go away. They try unfortunately with young guys you to buy more drinks. A made up set-up. They also charge for an average beer 10 euros for a place that it's not worth 3 euros. Almost empty on a Saturday at 10 pm. As pinocchio... Whoever told you it's a good place, lied to you to you several times. Sad.
