Had a lovely afternoon tea here for a celebration. The food was excellent, great service - all just thoroughly enjoyable and the location is picture perfect.

We stayed for two nights at the Talland Bay Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is wonderfully quirky with a magical, almost fairytale feel that makes it feel really special from the moment you arrive. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, and the service felt warm and personal throughout our stay. The food was excellent – beautifully prepared and full of flavour – and was a real highlight of the trip. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay in a unique setting, and we’d happily return.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, just called in for a late afternoon drink. Staff were very nice but the price for two glasses of wine, 175 ml came to £29. Certainly will not be visiting again!

Fabulous views from the garden and the terrace. Food was delicious and I was well catered for with my allergies.

The decor might not be to everyones taste, in fact a minorities taste, but that aside that i loved it here. It's not quite alice in wonderland (as suggested in other reviews) but some of the features are a little out of place in this lovely setting. Sea views, amazing outdoor space, superb food and the most professional staff I've ever met. The hotel is quite remote and a car is necessary. Walkers will love it here but those less abled might struggle with the gradients outside the hotel grounds. My attendance was for a special family occasion and the staff made it a fantastic experience. This is a massive credit to the team building here. Dogs are welcome here but for those who are not a fan of mans four legged friend, animals have their own restaurant area and an animal free restaurant area is available. EV charging for your car is available, and parking seemed plentiful. A wide selection of different rooms are among the options. I'd definitelyreturn, as long as the randomness decor stays within limits.
