It has really a nice atmosphere and the cocktails are decent.

The location is really lovely, and that’s the main reason people come here. The food was okay – not outstanding or particularly special. The menu featured the basics, perhaps with a slight twist, but nothing that really stood out or set the cuisine apart. The bar, on the other hand, is remarkable. I had a Negroni to test the basics and one from the Africa collection. Both were well mixed and the Negroni went down smoothly and was well-balanced. All in all, I’d come back here for the setting and the bar, but not for the food.

Had the pleasure of dining at The Dome in Edinburgh this evening and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I chose the pork belly, which arrived as an impressively generous cut of meat. The seasoning was excellent, bringing out the richness of the dish without overpowering it. Beautifully cooked, full of flavour and presented perfectly. Combined with the stunning surroundings and atmosphere, it made for a memorable meal. Highly recommended.

Afternoon tea in the Georgian tea room is delightful

The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. I had also selected “birthday” as the occasion when making the reservation. However, while sparkling birthday desserts were brought to table after table around us, nothing was brought to ours. It was awkward, and I felt sorry for the person I was celebrating with. Other than that, we had a great experience.
