The Deep Car Park

The car park and quiet riverside area around The Deep aquarium on Victoria Dock is listed on gay cruising directories as an after-dark meeting spot, helped by its edge-of-centre location by the Humber. It is a public, camera-covered car park serving a family attraction, so discretion is essential and daytime activity is not appropriate. As across the UK, being gay and meeting other men is entirely legal, but public sexual activity is not — this is provided for awareness and safety, and going with a friend is advised.
