The doormen are disgusting how they bully customers in this place! I would advise anyone to avoid

Its disgusting that in this day and age I find a bar / club that discriminates against single people I will be seeking legal representation to challenge this outrageous slur on single people. Its disgusting and those people who support freedom in society should avoid this place that rips up the rights of individuals

Brilliant bar in concert square when the sun is shining and the beer is flowing 🍻, it got very busy in the evening.

The bouncer said I couldn't enter, as I was alone, and that if I fell over.there would be no one to pick me up.... Even allowing for a 'Low Common Denominator' for bouncers, that has to be the most stupid reason ever offered for refusing entry!!! I was revisiting Liverpool after graduating at the Uni 35 years ago. I'm a 57 year old retired technical director in engineering. I appreciate the risk of predatorial 'lone wolf' bad actors... but surely security staff can apply a minimal level of common sense in discerning the risk posed by a middle-aged solo traveller, hoping to catch a late beer on the terrace after world cup footy & dinner. Sadly, this experience was the sole blotch on an otherwise delightful return to a city that gave me so much joy in my youth. ps Also, I would very much like to believe that this had nothing to do with the fact that I have darker skin.
