via Stay22About this place The Underground
This gay bar and club below King's Cross Central Station on Wharfdale Road changes its personality during the week. Come for a relaxed drink on a Tuesday; come back for a full-on party on a Saturday.
London's gay scene has places all over, but this one's easy to get to, especially if you're in the West End or looking for something near a big transport hub. Being underground gives it a different feel than a street-level bar, a kind of low-key buzz.
The vibe shifts from a quieter weeknight spot to a full-blown club by the weekend. So you get two different experiences in the same place, depending on what you're after.
Check the schedule and hours at theundergroundclub.net. It’s always a good idea to confirm before you head out, especially if there's a specific event you want to catch.

I visited just for a couple of beers, food was served to others
Be aware most of the reviews here are mistakenly reviewing the gay bar at ground level (above this fetish club) called Central Station. The underground club is as described, underground, it a a tiny dark horrible club. Staff are rude. Place often overcrowded, dangerously so, and it smells badly. Would avoid.
Went to an SOP event and never had a better time. All the guys were awesome opena dn there to play. Can't wait to get back
Went tonight total let down 12 quid to freeze. No heating. Staff, seemed unwilling or unable to help . Had to leave after an hour. Not impressed at, all. So sad normally a, good night
