A Rocky Horror Picture Show Night in Vienna
Few films embrace camp, theatricality and unapologetic self-expression quite like The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Therefore, it is a fitting inspiration for a night of queer performance at Villa Vida Café.
Expect a playful evening inspired by the cult classic’s extravagant world. Most importantly, you do not need to be a Rocky Horror expert to take part in the night. Come for the performances, the atmosphere, the community or simply your curiosity.
Costumes and dramatic looks are welcome if that is your thing. However, dressing up is never required. Come in whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Queer Community, Camp and Cult Cinema
The Rocky Horror Picture Show has a long history of audience participation and queer cultural significance.
