Thinking about taking your business beyond Canada, exploring a new international market, or looking for more support as you grow globally? Join CQCC and Export Development Canada (EDC) for a practical “EDC 101” session designed for Canadian businesses at different stages of their export journey — from those just beginning to explore international opportunities to established exporters looking to grow their global presence.

Led by Anne-Gabrielle Berthaud, National Engagement Lead, Inclusive Trade at EDC, the session will help participants better understand where EDC fits within Canada’s international trade ecosystem and how businesses can access EDC’s financial solutions, advisory services, expertise and other resources to support international growth.

Participants will learn about EDC’s mandate and Inclusive Trade Strategy, what it means to be considered an exporter, best practices for working with EDC, and the financial and non-financial solutions available to Canadian businesses. The session will also feature relevant client case studies and conclude with a live Q&A, providing an opportunity to hear directly from EDC and ask questions about the support that may be relevant to their business.

Who should attend? SMEs, entrepreneurs and business owners who are curious about exporting but aren’t sure where to begin; businesses assessing or preparing to enter new international markets; and established exporters looking to better understand and take advantage of EDC’s resources and support.
