Dahlia Belle (Netflix, MSNBC, the Moth) delivers 60-minutes of stand-up that celebrates and affirms the awkward silliness of being human in the modern world. Through a combination of the wholesome and mundane, anecdotes about house cats, licentious foibles of the LGBT community, and an unapologetic account of her personal journey with gender-affirming care, all delivered with her trademark free-form wit, she renders the unfamiliar relatable and the relatable extraordinary (and extraordinarily funny). "Affirmed" is a love letter to the misfits, outcasts, weirdos, loners, and Mx. Belle's custom-made vagina.
