About the event

The National Graffiti Encounter expects over 200 urban artists in three days of free programming From September 11 to 13, the Santa Luzia neighborhood, located in Cidade Estrutural/DF, will host FEST POVOS 2026 with over 200 graffiti artists from the five regions of Brazil and guests from Colombia, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, and Venezuela in a free program that will feature urban interventions, training, exhibitions, rap battles, and breaking performances. The encounter will bring together artists with a proposal for exchange between generations and graffiti trajectories. According to the event's creator, Davi Di Favela, the highlight of this edition will be the creation of an open-air urban art gallery. “Our expectation is to have graffiti distributed on the community's walls along a route estimated at about 1 kilometer,” stated Davi. On the occasion, the Casa do Hip Hop Santa Luzia will also be inaugurated, a cultural space dedicated to the work and development of Hip-Hop manifestations in the community. The proposal is to value the diversity of styles, experiences, and expressions present in the national and local graffiti scene. Created by Davi Di Favela, FEST POVOS emerged in 2015 from a demand from Santa Luzia residents. Since 2018, the initiative has incorporated the National Graffiti Encounter format, connecting artists from the Federal District with names from other parts of the country.
