The event takes place from September 18 to 20, at Taguatinga Shopping, and brings together various gastronomic operations in a program dedicated to Asian culture and the geek universe Brasília will dive into the universe of Asian culture between September 18 and 20, when the H parking lot of TGS hosts the 9th edition of the Nipo Festival. With the theme “World of Collectibles,” the event will occupy almost 7,000 m² and, in addition to games, cosplay, K-pop, bazaars, and Trading Card Games (TCG) competitions, will have gastronomy as one of the main meeting points with the public. In total, various food operations, bringing together traditional Asian cuisine dishes, popular reinterpretations among pop culture fans, and oriental sweet options. The proposal is to transform the gastronomic experience into an important part of the festival tour, serving both those who already know these flavors and those who will have their first contact with Asian cuisine. On the menu, classics like ramen, donburi, yakisoba, sushi, gyoza, and karaage share space with preparations that have gained popularity among Asian pop culture fans, such as Korean hot dog, takoyaki, hot rolls, and artisanal onigiris. To complete the gastronomic journey, a section dedicated to oriental sweets brings options like dango and bubble waffle. The variety accompanies the very proposal of the Nipo Festival, which seeks to bring together different facets of Asian culture in one space.
