Homenaje a Martín Emilio Cochise Rodríguez y obras en el velódromo

Mayor Federico Gutiérrez paid tribute to Martín Emilio Cochise Rodríguez and announced the renovation of the velodrome that bears his name in Medellín. The work, which will begin in November 2026 and end in November 2027, includes the modernization of the infrastructure, the construction of a roof, the change of the track to a wooden surface according to international standards, the remodeling of stands, the installation of lighting, and improvements in the boxes and workshops. The intervention will benefit more than 10,300 athletes and users, generate approximately 250 jobs, and allow for national and international events to be held.
