BLUES Revival — Pink Pub

Remember Blues Velvet? Do you know what Blues Velvet was? Then we don't need to explain, you can even skip to the end of the text.

Blues Velvet was the bar that, between the mid-00s and early 20s, transformed Florianópolis's nightlife. It was fundamental in re-establishing alternative nightlife culture back in the city center and influences much of what we see today. Alternative rock, Brazilian music, jazz, disco, techno, bregas, all had their parties on the Blues dance floor, there on Pedro Ivo.

That's why we're celebrating them on the 11th, the Sunday before the holiday, at Pink Pub, the address that was the new home of Blues Velvet for a few months.

There were many different parties, so we're bringing together several of the most representative ones and the DJs who played at them on the same night. But we know that the most important thing WAS the audience that went, so we expect all of you. Those who knew it and those who didn't, to revisit memories and create new ones.
