Gay Hotels in Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta has one of the deepest selections of gay and gay-owned lodging in Mexico, and almost all of it clusters in Zona Romantica (Old Town) and the adjoining Amapas hillside, within walking distance of the bars and the Los Muertos gay beach. Whether you want a full beach resort, a small gay-owned boutique hotel or a men-only guesthouse, you can stay in the middle of the scene without needing a car.
On the Gay Beach
Almar Resort is the flagship, an adults-friendly luxury property that runs the Mantamar Beach Club and hosts much of Vallarta Pride. Right alongside, Blue Chairs Resort is the veteran gay hotel sitting directly on the Los Muertos gay beach, famous for its rooftop bar and beach club.

Casa Cupula is the well-known gay boutique hotel up in Amapas, with a pool club and restaurant. Hotel Mercurio and Hotel La Iguana are gay, adults-only hotels a short walk from the beach, while Petit Hotel Pilitas, La Terraza Inn and Pinata PV offer smaller, friendly, gay-focused stays in the same walkable pocket of Zona Romantica.
