We recently stayed at The Swiftwater and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and felt like the perfect mountain getaway. One of our favorite parts was relaxing by the fireplace after breakfast and spending time at the indoor pool. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The made-from-scratch Caesar salad was one of the freshest we’ve had, and the pork chop was outstanding. The staff throughout the property were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. If you’re looking for an affordable getaway in the Poconos, be sure to check out their Midweek Escapes packages. They offer a great value and make it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer without the weekend crowds. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing trip in the Poconos.
Nice hotel , unfortunately the pool is very small like good enough for 4 people . Now , the food its outstanding,on our second night at dinner we had wait 55 minutes for our meal( the manager apologized and said the wine and dessert will be on the house) but unfortunately our server chargers us for everything, saying i forgot to discount the wine so i give y ou a bottle of water in stade.(really!!!) i didn't said anything because the food was good. The location is nice but not much to do around. I have to mentioning the breakfast is delicious excellent French toast and really fresh scrambled eggs.
We had an excellent time at the swiftwater. There was an attention to detail in all they offered that was unmatched. The staff was helpful, the rooms were beautiful and clean, the outdoor fireplace and seating was awesome. It was very calm and a great place to relax. Would definitely return
Drove over two hours from Philadelphia for a quick getaway at The Swiftwater, only to arrive and find out the pool is completely out of service. The pool was one of the main reasons we booked this resort in the first place. Their solution was to tell us we could drive or take a shuttle over to Mount Airy Casino to use their pool. If I wanted to stay at a casino, I would have booked one. When we asked if we could get a room upgrade to compensate for the massive inconvenience, we were flat-out denied because we booked through Expedia instead of directly with the hotel. It’s incredibly frustrating that management cares more about how the room was booked than the actual satisfaction of the guests sleeping under their roof. The only bright spot was the concierge, Heavenly. She was great, incredibly sweet, and tried to help us as much as she possibly could, but the General Manager wouldn't allow her to do anything for us. Paying resort prices for a property with broken amenities and rigid management is a huge letdown. Avoid this place if you actually want to use the facilities you’re paying for.
Spectacular! Top notch. Everything is on point. The room was spacious and the bathroom was phenomenal! The pool was very nice, pool/patio side drink service was a nice touch. Every staff person was polite and attentive.
I had a wonderful stay at the Swiftwater Hotel. The property was beautiful and well maintained, with a lovely outdoor fire pit that created a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. The restaurant was delicious, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. One of the highlights was the heated pool, which features both indoor and outdoor sections. It was a unique and enjoyable experience being able to swim between the two areas while staying comfortable in the warm water. The concierge was also incredibly helpful and went above and beyond by providing great recommendations for nearby massage and spa services, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, the Swiftwater Hotel provided a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable getaway. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Everything feels very new and clean, we loved the romance package and the private plunge pool room!
