We used to stay there years ago while attending Frog Follies and it was nice. We loved the charm and quiet it had to offer rather than a hotel. After several years of taking a hiatus from Frog Follies, we decided to go back this past summer and we stayed there again. While the owners are still kind, the place is in desperate need of cleaning inside and out. Walking into the side door where you enter, the exterior is full of cobwebs, overgrown vegetation and just plain dirt. Our bathroom was not clean. The toilet seat was gross. The shower curtain had mold on it. The sink had an already opened soap bar. In addition, the place was very stuffy and had to ask for fans. I think it's time they either hire help or hang it up. The icing on the cake was when I went to pay, she attempted to change the price quoted to me on the phone, citing they had never raised their rates before. After i said that's not what you quoted me, she kept the original price. The most disappointing part of this is that we invited our good friends to go along and bragged about how nice the place was and it's better than a hotel. We won't go back.

I recommend this B&B to everyone! The husband and wife that run this are the best!!! We enjoyed breakfast made for us every morning. We had the best nights sleep. It was just an amazing experience!

I stayed here frequently 20 years ago, then again last year. Still the most wonderful hosts as ever. Beautiful property. Good memories.

We had an amazing stay at this absolutely gorgeous B&B and are so thankful to our wonderful hosts for their warm hospitality and welcoming us into their beautiful home. We stayed in the Margaret Mitchell suite and it was so comfortable, complete with a daffodil yellow tiled bathroom straight out of the early 1900’s. Breakfast was wonderful and we got to enjoy lovely conversation with the proprietors. We will certainly be back next time we travel to Evansville! 😊
