OutFront Minnesota

OutFront Minnesota is the primary LGBTQ+ advocacy and community organisation in Minnesota — the largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organisation in the Upper Midwest, with a history going back to the early days of the Minnesota gay rights movement and a current programme that spans legal services, legislative advocacy, education, community organising, and direct services to vulnerable LGBTQ+ populations. The organisation has been instrumental in many of the legal and legislative gains the LGBTQ+ community has achieved in Minnesota, including the state's marriage equality legislation, non-discrimination protections, and ongoing work on trans rights and youth homelessness. The organisation's offices on E 38th Street in the Tangletown neighbourhood serve as a hub for community organising, meetings, and direct services.
