Great bar to go to after hiking and ask for Misi the bartender! Amazing drink and knowledgeable about the area

I’ve been to this bar a few times over the years seeing as we live in the area. Usually nice to go out with my husband and have a cocktail prepared for us seeing as I’ve worked in bars and restaurants for almost two decades and don’t always want to make my own cocktail at home. However, tonight’s experience was worse than any other time we’ve visited before. Drinks are usually slow (15 minutes or so), but tonight we waited over 30 minutes for our cocktails. My drink got delivered, but after 40 minutes I heard the server ask about my husband’s Sazerac. They hadn’t even started it! There were 3 people we saw behind the bar. One of them was there when we first showed up, but was busy restocking garnish fruit then disappeared for awhile. I wrote it off as possibly a barback position until I saw upon return preparing a drink… again not ours. 3 people able to prepare drinks yet ignoring tickets the server had put in, which she reminded them of a couple times. I’m unsure as to what is going on behind that bar, but there is definitely neglect when it comes to preparing drinks for their guests. The server was attentive and doing her best. I know a server that is working with incompetent/inattentive coworkers when I see one. The bartenders focus solely on the bar top and even then in past experiences it’s been pretty slow.

Really nice place to drink a cocktail or beer after a day in Zion NP. Friendly and helpful staff!

Cool little place with a swanky atmosphere.

The atmosphere was fabulous and perfect after a long day of hiking. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in my drink. I ordered a an old fashioned and received a glass that only had a 1/4 drink in it. It tasted great but not for $17. Plus, the menu showed a picture of the drink with the glass full. False advertising! It also didn’t help that the wait time took forever. The staff were really nice but I didn’t understand why it took so long when there weren’t that many people there. I really wanted to like this place, but the cost for what you receive doesn’t add up.
