The house, which is made of mud blocks, is currently being remodeled; perhaps that's why the entrance fee is only $8 USD. It's a beautiful place; you can even go there to read a book, have a picnic, or simply take a walk.

A place where history comes alive and nostalgia fills the air... We visited Richmond Cottage, it's very beautiful... the main house is under restoration until next year... I understand that this year the entrance fee is more affordable because of the 250th anniversary of Independence. Our family went on Memorial Day Monday and the entrance fee was $8 per person. Very beautiful, well-maintained, and clean. The staff was very friendly, and the young woman at the ticket window was very attentive and kind... A place to spend time with family, even outside. It has restrooms and benches to rest and eat. It was a windy day, with a very refreshing breeze... the place was very nice, we liked it a lot. ✏️...In fact, as a fun fact, in this very place, the singer Luis Miguel filmed a video for the song "No Sé Tú" in 1991, which you can find on YouTube. Miami has its 💎 jewels, very well cared for, and we must enjoy them...🙂☺️ Thank you very much!

Beautiful historic place to visit. In very far South Dade. Free for Seniors on Friday. Used to belong to half brother of Vizcaya housing complex in Downtown Miami. The girl guide that goes by M was a wonderful host. Good place to go on a picnic. Many picnic tables under very shady trees, by the wonderful bay vistas. The main house, what they call, the stone house is under renovations till 2027.

Beautiful place to walk around and enjoy the grounds. Field trip with kids included terrarium making and a nature hike. Staff was really kind and helpful to our group.

Very dependable handling from start to finish. Nothing felt uncertain or unclear. It gave a sense of reliability.
