Another quiet, peaceful, and tranquil place just like The Barnacle. There is a Visitor Center that you can enter and learn about the Estate, the Rockland Pine Forest Ecosystem, and Biscayne Bay. The actual Estate was not open when we were there but the Rockland Pine Forest was viewable just south of the Visitor Center. There was a walkway down to Biscayne Bay and the Deering Estate People's Dock. This is the place to go if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Miami.
