About this place Dry Dock Portland

Dry Dock is a mid-priced restaurant and bar on Commercial Street in Portland's Old Port, across from the wharves of the working waterfront. It's a mainstream gay-friendly place, not a gay bar. Seafood and pub-style food are the usual orders. Reviews are strong (4.7 from about 400 ratings). Commercial Street gets crowded with cruise-ship and summer visitors, so expect waits at peak times. No hours are on file, so check before going.

The staff at Dry Dock are so incredibly kind and welcoming! We brought our 2 year old in went to show her the lobsters in the tank. A team member saw us and came over to pull one out so she could see it up close! Wonderful, family friendly atmosphere with great food. 😊

Hayley R was the best waitress ever. She was very accommodating with recommendations. She served us with a smile. Need more people in the world like Hayley... Thank you so much for a great experience of the Raw Bar. Those oysters were the best. Order The Deck yall.....

First time visiting Maine and we came across Dry Dock and found their oysters to be the best we've had in our 4 days here. We had Oysters twice and ate there 3 times already. Their seasonal salad was fresh and delicious. their Oysters were the freshest we've had. And the service is friendly and warm. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stumbled in this restaurant on a quick trip to Portland and would highly recommend. He really enjoyed his oysters and lobster roll. Their ranch was incredible and the server was super friendly! Only complaint is that their burgers need to be seasoned!

Rebecca N was a fabulous waitress! The drinks were tasty, the food was great, and the view from the upstairs patio was gorgeous. A quality place to dine in Portland!
