Very clean dog friendly room

Looking for an overnight night getaway. Came up to Clovis to see Nephew and his wife and the two baby’s our Grand nephews 1st birthday . Looked on booking .com and saw Rodeo Lodge. Thought that looks cool. Older places that are well maintained are great. very reasonable prices for a very large room #116 could have had as square dance in there. Room was very quiet and clean. Loved the wall mural it was beautiful. Everyone that we made contact with were so happy and helpful, gave us lots of recommendations for local hangout eating establishments. Great time we will definitely return! Thanks for another great stay. Frank Luke

This place is awful! The beds are so hard, they use nasty old blankets for your cover. The outside is filthy! We put a do not disturb sign on door and they came in anyways. I did complain about that and the girl at desk on Saturday night could have cared less and was rude to me. Not an apology to be had. So they will enter your room even if you have a do not disturb sign. Let’s also talk about the blaring music coming from a bar or something in the area.

I had an unexpected family emergency (child in hospital) and requested a refund for the following day through the end of the reservation. It took 3 days before the manger was available and he denied the refund. The room I reserved had a kitchen, but did not have any pots, plates, cups, bowls, or silverware. So I had to purchase these items to use the kitchen during the beginning of my stay before the unexpected early departure. The location was perfect as it is in downtown and close to Big Hat Days and Rodeo stuff. I will no longer stay at this hotel due to this experience even given the ideal location.

Due to an unexpected family emergency with my child in the hospital I let the front desk staff know one evening I was leaving due to this reason and if I could have a refund for the next night through my checkout date. He indicated he shouldn’t be a problem but the manager has to approve to call back the next day. I called back the next 3 days to finally get the manager who said no he would not give a refund. I asked if there would be a credit to use in the future and he denied that as well. The room I had was a kitchen room. There were no plates, cups, bowels, silverware, or cooking pots. I bought some at Walmart to use as I was living here for work for a week. The location is in Downtown Clovis so close to restaurants and Rodeo location. This is why I picked the hotel. Due to these reasons I will not stay here again.

From check-in the staff has been amazing. They are nice and understanding. It has really helped my family. Thank you
