Project Pride SRQ

Project Pride SRQ is Sarasota's leading LGBTQ+ nonprofit and the organization behind the city's annual Gulfcoast Pride Festival & Street Party. Founded in 2019 and based on Boulevard of the Arts downtown, the group works year-round on community events, education and advocacy for the greater Sarasota-Manatee area. Alongside Pride, it hosts mixers, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities that give the region's spread-out queer community a shared anchor. For visitors, it is the best first stop to find out what is happening while you are in town - from Pride-week parties each October to smaller gatherings throughout the year.
