About this place Building Changes

Building Changes is a Seattle nonprofit that works on homelessness in Washington State, with a focus on LGBTQ+ people. They don't do it alone. They partner with other local groups, coming up with new ways to get people off the streets. It's about making real change, especially for some of the state's most vulnerable. If you're an LGBTQ+ traveler in Seattle and want to see what local organizations are up to, Building Changes gives you a look inside. Plenty of us like to connect with groups that share our values and are doing good in the community. You can volunteer, find out about local projects, or just understand the groups that are shaping Seattle. Find them at 1200 12th Avenue South in Seattle. Or check out their website, buildingchanges.org, to learn more about their current projects. If social justice, homelessness prevention, or LGBTQ+-affirming community work matters to you, this is a good place to start.
