About This Event
Tulsa Pride is run by Oklahomans for Equality, the nonprofit behind the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center downtown. The key thing for visitors: it is no longer a June event. Organizers moved the parade and festival to October in 2024 because of Oklahoma's summer heat, so the 2026 edition falls on Saturday, October 17.
It is one long, free day. The festival runs from 10am to 10pm with a Pride Market of vendors, a makers' section for small queer creators and community groups, and a stage lineup heavy on drag; the 2026 bill lists Blackberri, Lexi Love and Sam Star, hosted by Karma Eclectic. The parade runs in the afternoon, with churches, nonprofits, businesses and teams such as the HotMess Sports league.
The festival normally sits on Pride Street, the stretch of 4th Street between Elgin and Lansing avenues. Construction there moved the 2026 site a couple of blocks to 6th Street and Frankfort Avenue, still steps from the Equality Center.
Tulsa's first officially permitted pride parade ran in June 1999 from Brookside to downtown, and local outlets counted the 2025 parade as the 26th. That 2025 edition took place on October 11 on Pride Street, and organizers said thousands attended. We couldn't find an official headcount.
