Shelly’s Back Room

I visited on a Saturday afternoon. Several groups of guys were there, but not crowded. Plenty of comfortable seating available. Very polite and attentive staff. Great selection of cigars and a well stocked bar. Casual atmosphere and dress. Mostly collared shirts and some T-shirts. I did not eat, but the food I saw looked good. I had a couple of drinks and a good cigar. Prices were not bad considering such an establishment. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in town.

It’s a place to smoke a cigar. The service is bad. I had no food. Lots of used ashtrays which I had to use since the folks working the room were not on the ball. I was directed to a sofa that may have been used in a hobo jungle or in Hollywood casting before being installed here. The bar area is seemingly private all reserved and is the best part of this joint. You can’t get in so shut up and sit on your hobo sofa. See, it’s just like America: You are on the outside looking in.

We didn't eat but heard the food is solid. It's a cigar bar through and through, and so you will smell of smoke when you leave. Lot of good drink options and cigar options. The staff is attentive, and unbelievably nice. The regulars were a blast to chat with.
