Moreton Island Resort Escape

Tom Social’s annual weekend away returns this year with our Moreton Island Resort Escape at Tangalooma Island Resort from Friday to Sunday, October 16 to 18.
For two nights, we take over the island with beach-side accommodation, ocean sunsets and a full program designed to help you switch off from routine and connect with other members in a relaxed, social setting.
Your package includes two nights’ beach-side accommodation, return boat transfers to and from the island, a private buffet welcome dinner and an exclusive themed party at the Wheelhouse Restaurant with a two-course dinner on Saturday.
You will take part in the wild dolphin feeding experience, have access to discounted island activities including sand safari tours, snorkelling and other adventure options, and enjoy Tom Social catered light breakfasts across the weekend.
An island welcome pack and organised mix and mingle activities are included to make it easy to meet new people from the moment you arrive.
As the sun sets, we come together for shared meals, group activities and our themed party night, creating natural opportunities to connect with members you may not yet know. There is plenty of time for conversations, laughs and those spontaneous moments that only seem to happen when everyone is away together.
This event is open to all members and is designed to be welcoming whether it is your first Tom Social getaway or you have joined us before.

SHARED BEACHFRONT VILLAGet the full beachhouse vibes flowing with our beachfront villas.
You’ll share with up to five other members in this spacious two-story villa which includes a full kitchen, lounge and deck overlooking the beach.
Accommodation options include one queen bed in the master bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and two bunk beds within the villa.
This option is the best for making connections with other members. Tom Social will allocate bedding arrangements based on your preferences submitted closer to the event.

RESORT HOTEL ROOMEnjoy a relaxed getaway in a hotel room situated in the heart of the resort.
Each resort hotel room features one queen bed and one single bed with a small kitchenette and seating area.

You can share this room with one or two others or keep it all to yourself.
To enjoy the full social club weekend away experience, we highly recommend sharing with others.
The more people you share the room with, the cheaper it gets.

If you have selected shared accommodation in a beach villa or hotel room, Tom Social will allocate bedding arrangements based on the preferences you provide via a submission form closer to the event date.
Can I book on behalf of a group?
No. To ensure the maximum number of members can attend without others missing out, we are asking all members to purchase their own tickets (unless you are purchasing a queen bed or hotel room for 2 or 3). We will assign you into villas and rooms based on your preferences at a later date.
I missed out on a ticket, what should I do?
Join the official waitlist and we’ll be in touch if more accommodation opens up, keeping you updated on your chances of securing a spot.
What is not included in the package?
Optional activities such as snorkelling, sand safaris and whale watching are not included in your package. You will also need to arrange your own lunches, snacks and drinks. There are cafés, bars and restaurants on the island where these can be purchased.
What is the refund policy if I can no longer come?
If you can no longer attend, Tom Social may be able to offer a refund on your ticket if we are able to resell your exact package to another member. Please note the resort requires full pre-payment for accommodation and catering, so refunds are not guaranteed.
Should I take the Friday off work?
Yes. Unlike previous getaways, Tom Social is required to pre-book your boat transfer to Tangalooma Island Resort for Friday morning…
