WOW Club is a long-running Guangzhou gay bar-club drawing a slightly older, mixed crowd, on the first floor of the west wing of Times Square on Tianhe North Road. Weekends bring drag shows and go-go entertainment, and the vibe is social and welcoming. In keeping with the realities of LGBTQ+ life in mainland China the venue keeps a low profile and does not market itself openly, so it is worth checking current hours and event nights before visiting and keeping affection discreet in public.
