Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
Visitors frequently praise the hotel's excellent location in Shinjuku, its cleanliness, and helpful staff, with many enjoying the fun Godzilla theme. However, a common complaint is that the rooms are very small, often lacking adequate storage and workspace, and some found the laundry facilities to be insufficient for the hotel's size.

Perfect location for Tokyo's nightlife but also for reaching various parts of the city given its proximity to the station. The rooms are small but very well-maintained and clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. For our honeymoon, they even had a surprise waiting for us in the room.
I have to say I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are small, perhaps a little too small, but overall the bed is comfortable and you're only there to sleep. Recommended!
If I could give the hotel 0 stars I would… the standard double rooms are single rooms (see picture attached from the hotel reception evidencing this). The bed is a large single bed. There aren’t any bedside tables. The bed is pushed up against the wall so only one person can get in and out. There’s only one bedside light. It’s not possible to open a suitcase in the room… we complained to reception when we checked in and they wouldn’t do anything to resolve the situation - this is where they showed us the room dimensions and bed sizes and where it was revealed that the single rooms are the same size, price etc as what is being sold as the standard double room. It is beyond disappointing - we’ve requested a refund and said that we would go elsewhere but the reception won’t help. We’ve emailed and left messages but heard nothing. The hotel refuses to help, so now we’re stuck having to open our suitcases in the corridor and storing them in the bathroom… it is absurd this room is allowed to be sold as a double room - the hotel don’t want to help and aren’t sympathetic. In addition, there is no access to the Godzilla (it’s been closed since last year - again false advertisement as we only just found this out) and the rooms aren’t Godzilla themed. This is the third hotel we’ve stayed in in Tokyo during our trip and by far the worst in all aspects. Bizarre that this has been rated 4* hotel - not even the reception staff match that of a 4*. Finally, there is no signposting and no hotel reception at the entry level of the hotel - you have to wonder through the various shops to find out how to get to the hotel…. Truly disappointing hotel and customer service. (Other 4* hotels in Tokyo have been much nicer and cheaper..)
We felt really comfortable here. The hotel was very clean, the location was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and cozy, just right for our stay. Overall, everything was perfect—I'd love to come back and can absolutely recommend this hotel. P.S.: The Godzilla Room was amazing!!
