Dusit Thani Manila Hotel

Great breakfast service at Dusit Thani Manila. Dhem was very friendly, attentive, and made our breakfast experience really pleasant. Excellent service and very professional. Salamat.

Was a good stay until check out time, took 30 minutes and 5 calls for the bellboy concierge to pick up my luggage. Room was old but well maintained, aircond can be better. But overall is good stay.

After a demanding and somewhat spartan cruise, we wanted to treat ourselves to a bit of luxury. We chose this hotel and we don't regret it. The room was large, adequately equipped. The mattresses were extra hard but despite some minor concerns, it didn't matter at all. The staff was unusually nice and smiling. The breakfast was absolutely the best. Really exceptional, high quality, a huge selection for everyone. Minor negatives (considering 5 stars): the room could use a bit of renovation, the window was very dirty from the outside, they forgot to deliver the luggage to the room. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay and I definitely recommend it.

Overall good experience

Always feels like home whenever we hold meetings at Mayuree... Staff are attentive and courteous. Easy to access and just a short walk from SM store. Food is ok and tastes just right.

If you put in Thai hotel in the Phillipines you end up with a business that has a don’t care attitude and disorganized people who don’t get things done. Stay here if you want to be frustrated otherwise spend your money somewhere else.

Epic hotel right in the centre of makati and exceptional service

Abysmal service and outdated facilities. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a Dusit property. We initially booked a two-night stay but extended it to four, expecting a premium end to our Manila trip. That was a massive mistake. The first room allocated to us (724) was horrendous: a moldy bathroom ceiling, broken cupboards, detached bathroom amenities, and heavy water stains. It was entirely unfit for a luxury property. To make matters worse, a welcome card addressed to a completely different guest was placed in our room—a blatant, careless lack of attention to detail. When I raised these issues, we were offered a move to room 1420. However, the room change highlighted a severe failure in hospitality leadership. The Guest Services Manager, Fretchel, was unapologetic, dismissive, and chose to stay on her phone during our interaction—seemingly doing the bare minimum just to get rid of us. It was a deeply uncomfortable experience that left me feeling dismissed and mistreated. Having traveled extensively and stayed in luxury hotels worldwide, I know that exceptional service (the software) can often make up for dated facilities (the hardware). Here, both failed miserably at the management level. The only saving graces were the frontline staff. Jan the porter possessed far better manners and professionalism than the management team; he was exceptionally warm, genuine, and apologetic. Management should be taking notes from him. The disappointment continued into day two at breakfast. The chef at the Halal egg station was visibly indifferent. Despite asking for eggs with less oil, we were served an inedible, grease-soaked dish. To top it off, the coffee was cold and the salt/pepper cruets were broken. The entire F&B experience felt like a budget motel. The sole bright spot at breakfast yesterday was John Rey, the taho guy. He was an absolute vibe and so much fun to interact with—bringing the exact kind of energy and hospitality a guest hopes to experience. It is a shame his genuine warmth isn't shared by the rest of the culinary team. We still have two nights left, but the damage is done. I will never recommend Dusit Thani Manila to family, friends, or colleagues. First and last time staying here.

Great staycation. The stay was a post bday treat & a mom's day treat from our children. A lot of perks were offered esp it was mother's day. The staff were friendly, the place was cozy & rooms were clean with complete essentials. Had a great bonding time with our kids. 🥰
