Ever wanted to try Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) but didn’t know where to start? Now’s your chance to step into a world of imagination, storytelling and adventure!

Join Villa Vida Café and Your Turn Games for D&D for Beginners on Tuesday, 10 November 2026, from 16:00 to 19:00.

This free, beginner-friendly event introduces you to the exciting world of tabletop roleplaying games. Whether you’re completely new to D&D or simply curious about how it works, you’re welcome to join!

What to Expect at D&D for Beginners

Dungeons & Dragons is a collaborative storytelling game where players create characters, make decisions and explore imaginary worlds together.

Instead of competing against one another, players work together to shape the story. As a result, every adventure is different!

During this introductory session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Create your own character and discover the basics of D&D.

Join a short adventure and experience how the game works.

Learn by playing in a relaxed, friendly and inclusive setting.

Explore collaborative storytelling and discover the fun of tabletop roleplaying.

Most importantly, you don’t need any previous experience. This event is designed to help beginners discover D&D through playing rather than complicated explanations.

A Friendly and Inclusive Introduction to D&D

At Villa Vida Café, we believe games are a wonderful way to bring people together, spark creativity and build community.

That’s why D&D for Beginners offers a welcoming environment where curiosity and imagination come first.

Whether you’re attending on your own or coming with friends, you’re invited to explore the game at your own pace.

Moreover, you don’t need to be an expert in fantasy stories or roleplaying games to take part. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new!

Together, we’ll discover how shared storytelling can turn a simple game into an adventure.
