Calling all New Orleans area teachers, educators, and school staff who are interested in supporting LGBTQ2IA+ students! Join the New Orleans Pride Center and UTNO’s Sanctuary City committee to talk about the recent anti-LGBTQ2IA+ legislation’s impacts on students, learn about resources, and start planning strategies of support. Every first Tuesday of the month we gather to talk about LGBTQ2IA+ students’ emerging needs and how we can still work to meet them. Our main goals are to identify pathways for school employees to still be affirming and then share these out in the Greater New Orleans area and beyond. Snacks are always provided!
