What marks are left by colonial history on the bodies and narratives of the postcolonial "margins," particularly those of the North African diaspora, with a particular focus on Algeria? This iconographic-choreographic performance by queer feminist artist-activist Habibitch seeks to map the continuity of systemic violence, from yesterday's colonial abuses to contemporary discrimination, by combining two complementary languages: movement and image.
