HHV Women's Training

Run by and at Herne Hill Velodrome in South East London. You must have completed a track induction before attending any track sessions: see [hernehillvelodrome.com][1] for details.

A supportive and challenging environment in which riders of all abilities can develop their track craft through a mixture of skills, drills and workshops. £10 including bike hire.

If you have completed a track training accreditation, you can join the intermediate session. Once you have done several skills sessions and feel confident that you understand the different techniques on the track you can do a training accreditation, and then join the intermediate session, which combines faster exercises, intervals to improve fitness, and introduces racing techniques. 

Please note that these sessions are not run by Velociposse. We recommend them because: track cycling is great for general bike handling skills (you're on a fixed gear bike), fitness (no stopping for traffic lights!) and confidence.
