About this place Hazegewoud - Arendonk

Hazegewoud is a small bed and breakfast at Hazegewoud 22 in Arendonk, about 16 km north of Mol near the Dutch border. It's a mainstream rural guesthouse; nothing in the data points to an LGBTQ+ focus. There are only nine Google reviews, though they average 4.8. The area is heath, forest and cycle routes, so a car or bike is close to essential. The website on record is a directory page rather than the owner's own site, so call ahead to confirm rooms, prices and that it is still taking guests.

Two elderly gentlemen kindly welcome guests. The location is not easy to access without a personal vehicle. I traveled there by car.

I've been going to Belgium regularly for four years now, and whenever possible, I stay in this house. The hosts are simply wonderful, and the house is absolutely lovely and beautiful. I recommend it 200%!

Nice and cozy Dutch couple running a B&B. We had a spacious room with a large bed, seating area, mini-fridge, and microwave. Separate bathroom in the hallway. Excellent and extensive breakfast. Parking right outside the door, everything arranged perfectly.

We were there just one night on our way through (cycling holiday) with our 2-year-old son and received an incredibly warm and heartfelt welcome, feeling as if we were staying with friends. It was also very sweet that we were allowed to borrow a buggy to go into the village for a bit (there is a good chip shop around the corner), and the breakfast was delicious too!
