A friend booked this hotel on booking.com, and we both absolutely loved it! 🥰👍 It used to be a dental clinic, and since we had two large suitcases that were impossible to drag up the steep stairs, the manager, E (?), let us leave them in the original clinic area on the first floor and take our essentials upstairs. The entire traditional building has a very historical feel, and after the renovation, it's very comfortable to stay in. We each have our own private bathroom and can use the kitchen and refrigerator on the third floor rooftop… The only minor drawbacks are that the water pressure in the third-floor kitchen faucet isn't very strong, and it's a bit far to get to the river from the train station with our luggage (we might want to look into taking the bus).

We were so very thankful to Anne Francoise et Jean-Philippe! We were desperate to find a place to stay after a very long travel day and she came to our rescue. Her place was lovely and right at the base of the citadelle. The terrace was beautiful ❤️ Thank you so much for your hospitality! We highly recommend Mademoiselle Citadelle

A very pleasant stay with lovely, helpful hosts. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the city center and close to the water. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom had a rain shower. There's a table and chairs on the rooftop terrace. Up the spiral staircase, you'll also find loungers with views of the city and the fortress. Very enjoyable, and we'd gladly return.
