We popped in for an impromptu glass of wine and a cheeseboard, and enjoyed it so much we stayed for a second round. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was really friendly, and everything felt very welcoming. We'd definitely come back if we visit Dubrovnik again.
Nice impromptu wine tasting. Lots of Croatian wines to try. Definitely recommend. Eclectic bar artwork and graffiti too.
We came across this wine bar after dinner. We were looking for a place to try Croatian wines. The wine bar did seem to definitely fit as it had available a variety of different tasting experiences. We therefore had a good opportunity to try a number of different Croatian wine. The wine bar has a nice feel to it. However, unlike others we did not have a great wine tasting experience. While the person serving us did give an introduction to the wines included in the wine flights (we had two flights , one red and the other white) he otherwise seemed to disappear. Therefore there was not the opportunity to ask questions.Perhaps it was because the bar was not that busy. It is a pity because when we travel we love to learn about the wines .For us this was not that sort of wine tasting experience.
To enjoy good wines and enjoy good advice, this address is for you. We're still quiet.
Friendly enough service and good wine flights off the busy main streets. A good opportunity to try Croatian wines in one spot!
Great stop off whilst it rained outside, great wines, did a red and white flight test... gets very busy! Be prepared to share your table with others, but adds to a buzzy atmosphere
Funky (in a good way) little bar with great atmosphere and a good selection of Croatian wines. Waitress gave good advice on what to drink for our tastes and both our wines were lovely. Although expensive at 16 EUR for my glass of red, however it was a decent sized pour and very enjoyable.
After a hotel day of touring beautiful Dubrovnik, it was great to enjoy lovely wine flights and charcuterie at this charming wine bar!! The drinks were so refreshing and the food was so fresh and tasty!!
What an amazing wine bar. We went for a wine tasting. There was a great choice of local or wider Croatian wines to try. Sacha was so friendly and gave us a great deal if information about the wines peppered with amusing anecdotes . Having had the tasting we had some more gorgeous wine together with the most fantastic charcuterie and cheese board. We also had some delicious olive and anchovy bruschetta. The staff were amazing and we had done great conversations. In fact the whole bar had a really friendly community feeling . I cannot recommend this wine bar enough. It is a good idea to book though as it is small though they do their best to accommodate people
I came here first in 2014 while on visiting Dubrovnik to speak at a conference. During that visit I went to D’Vino every day to learn more about Croatian wines. Sasha is an egregious and passionate host and helped me navigate my way through all of the reds by the glass on the menu and a couple of bottles to boot. It has always been a place I had recommended to others. Scroll forward 11 years and I found myself back at D’Vino and was great to see Sasha and the team on fine form setting this place apart from any others in town. We stopped in for lunch and a couple of glasses before deciding to return in the evening. Taking advice from Anita we settled on a bottle of exquisite 2013 Dingac which we agreed they would open a few hours before we came back to breathe. This is a place not to be missed at all - still going strong and maintaining the atmosphere and customer care - a bit less hair and a bit more beard on both sides but was like time stood still.
