Mut & Würde - FLINTA* Song Reading Stage (with PAULA PAULA)
About the event
The Leipzig song scene presents: Leipzig's first FLINTA* song reading stage! Masha Potempa & Marsha Richarz want to get to the bottom of pressing questions of our time and draw a fairer future together with the audience. Stars of the song scene tell about their perspectives and wishes. Of course, there will also be plenty of music & word fireworks. PAULA PAULA creates perimenopausal, dystopian-romantic uproar pop with unwavering love for humanity and lyrics that hit you in the face with one hand while extending the other for final reconciliation. With her second album “Heilige Scheiße” (Release 05/06/26, Listenrecords), frontwoman Marlène Colle summarizes her current view of the world situation in ten poetic songs ranging from tender ballads to political songs to synth-heavy dark pop anthems. After her acclaimed debut “schade kaputt” with over 100 concerts, sold-out vinyl edition, appearances on ARD Ladies Night, at Till Reiners’ Happy Hour, and rave reviews in Spiegel, taz, and DLF Kultur, PAULA PAULA is now venturing into the middle of the dung heap to fish out the holy humus pearls from the societal composting process.
