La Bas

La Bas is a long-running pub and restaurant on Hallplatz in the old town, a few minutes from the Lorenzkirche. Travel Gay calls it a long-running gay bar and Spartacus lists a mixed gay and lesbian crowd, although its own website doesn't mention it and Patroc leaves it out. Expect dark wood, Franconian food, a summer beer garden and very long hours: it's open daily from midday until about 05:00, which makes it a common last stop of the night. Google rates it 4.5 from nearly 500 reviews.
