Positive: Quiet location away from mass tourism with a beautiful view of calm water and the marina. The buildings are well-maintained and very clean. The rooms are simply and sparsely furnished. Hard beds, but soft mattress toppers were provided upon request. A refrigerator with a freezer compartment is available. There is a self-service refrigerator by the pool with slightly more expensive drinks and snacks. Breakfast with hot and cold dishes. A coffee machine offers coffee, cappuccino, espresso, and hot chocolate. A restaurant and bus stop are a 10- to 15-minute walk away. Friendly staff. Negative: Occasional aircraft noise, sometimes until 1:30 a.m. The rooms are very poorly soundproofed. There is no soundproofing, and the door and bathroom window are leaky. There are occasionally noisy party neighbors in the villa next door, but it is usually quieter after 11 p.m. The vestibule on the upper floor of building C squeaks loudly. The outdoor air conditioning units vibrate loudly because the vibration dampers were omitted. The pool bar is no longer staffed; only the self-service refrigerator remains.
We booked a room with a sea view and breakfast included. We arrived after 9 pm and were given very clear information for self check-in. The staff is easily reachable by email or WhatsApp. The hotel is located on a small hill and is quiet. The location is convenient if you want to visit the main towns. Access to the hotel is one-way by car. We only encountered one car, which moved over to the side and let us pass. I recommend an automatic car rather than a manual for driving up the hill and getting around the island. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is varied every day, with very good cappuccino, cocoa, orange juice, yogurt, etc. The room was very clean and well-ventilated. Note: I suggest the owner contact the town council to request the installation of traffic lights on each side of the road to improve traffic flow. One small negative point: daylight still gets through despite the shutters.
Very good. Quiet, clean with amazing views and kind staff!
Don't book! Unfortunately, they only expect paying guests who won't be back anyway. The online photos are well-edited and don't reflect reality. Everything is very dated and worn. For Greek hotels, it's a maximum of 1.5 stars. Without a car, you're not going anywhere. Located on a hill with a very tricky access road. Old and small rental cars are best, as it's very narrow. Parking is limited. The restaurant next door is only accessible by a long walk or by car directly down the hill. The staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate requests. But unfortunately, that wasn't enough to warrant a 5-star rating. We will definitely NEVER be back. What a shame, it's a beautiful island.
We really enjoyed the accommodation: friendly staff, beautiful location, quiet, with a great view, and a small but delicious breakfast buffet. The value for money is truly excellent! We'd love to come back!
It's not easy to leave a comment about this hotel. All in all, it's not bad, but you should know that the access road to the hotel is very narrow and uphill. Because of that, the view, who cares, is really good. You can see that they put effort into everything, but... As for the breakfast, a little disappointing... very "thin". Everything is a bit miniature, everything is just there to say it's there and not there. Small selection.
