Queer Corfu

Queer Corfu is the island's grassroots LGBTQI+ collective. Active since at least 2017 and present on Facebook as a gender- and sexuality-positive group, it is an independent, self-organised activist community rather than a service provider or Pride organiser, advocating for LGBTQI+ and women's rights, equality and visibility and standing against discrimination. Because Corfu has no dedicated LGBTQ+ centre, Pride festival or health service of its own, Queer Corfu functions mainly as a community touchpoint; its activity is low-key and intermittent, and travellers seeking formal services or larger events are pointed toward the national organisations in Athens and Thessaloniki.
