About this place Vrontonero Beach

Vrontonero is a remote beach at the far-eastern end of Laganas Bay, below the cliffs near Dafni on Zakynthos's south coast. It has been described as naturist, with a gay section at its eastern end, but we can't confirm how busy that is now. There are no sunbeds, bars, toilets or shade, and you get there on foot along a rough path. The beach is inside the National Marine Park of Zakynthos, a major loggerhead turtle nesting area. Access can be restricted, and Laganas Bay nesting beaches are closed from dusk to dawn during the summer nesting season. Go in daylight, keep out of marked nest zones, bring water and take all rubbish away with you.
