Villa Bellini (Gay Cruising Area)

The Giardino Bellini — Villa Bellini, Catania's oldest public gardens off Via Etnea — has a long-standing reputation as a discreet daytime and evening cruising (battuage) spot, particularly around the quieter upper terraces. By day it is a busy, family-friendly park in the heart of the city, so ordinary discretion applies after dusk. Italy is welcoming and consensual encounters are generally left alone, but use standard caution in any unlit public space at night.
