Lecture and practical demonstration of Nordic walking

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 9 a.m., you are invited to a lecture and practical demonstration of Nordic walking. With us will be Barbara Lemut, certified physiotherapist, Nordic walking and running instructor 2, and Naomi Cvetko, certified physiotherapist.
This year, World Physiotherapy Day is dedicated to the role of physical activity in preventing cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The theme encourages us to think about the important role of movement in preventing and managing cardiovascular diseases, so the meeting is dedicated to one of the most accessible forms of physical activity – Nordic walking.
The event will take place in the library's event space. You are welcome.
The event is organized by the Center for Health Promotion – Health Center Nova Gorica in cooperation with the Goriška Library.
