In the zine Mudd Ball Part 2, we follow the protagonist of the same name as he grapples with the absurdity of everyday life. The author places his character, who resembles a sad clown in appearance, in completely ordinary situations that are alien to this inhuman being. Everyday objects such as television screens, mirrors, and aquariums transform into huge, menacing structures, merge into each other, or become something entirely new. Little Mudd Ball must thus confront an unknown world and its implications – from consumerism and advertising to the omnipresence of media and self-understanding through them.
Maxime Custodio (2000) is a visual artist working in sculpture, installation, video, and painting. In 2026, he completed his master's degree at the National School of Fine Arts and Design in Dijon. During his studies, he spent a year on exchange at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana. His works have been presented at exhibitions XXX (Les Ateliers la Volière, France, 2024), Ampak (MGBS, Slovenia, 2025), and Døuglandie (City Hall Atrium, Slovenia, 2025).
