Sol Arona Tenerife

Had an amazing time, we was very pleased with this hotel. Food was lovely and staff were so polite and helpful. Entertainment was amazing. Special credit to Alvaro who was a great spirit. I am definitely coming here again when I next come tenerife. Im extremely pleased with my stay!!

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a weeks stay here and we had an amazing time. Check in and check out was quick and easy, the hotel is decorated brilliantly and our room was very nice and quite big for what we were expecting. We got given some welcome food which was a nice touch, although the cleaners didn’t remove it from our room so it started to smell a little, but it was taken out as soon as we asked. The pool was a great size and although we didn’t take part in the activities there was a wide selection of things to do- we especially enjoyed watching people attempt the water carpet! People reserving sunbeds though is a bit of an issue…my tip for future guests would be to take the towels off and use the beds anyway! The food was quite nice, but breakfast was a little cold which meant we couldn’t finish everything on our plates, however dinner was lovely and the selection changed every day. The pool bar food was great too- the only thing I would say is that the ham and cheese toastie was different each time I got it and at one point I was given one without crusts so it was very tiny which I don’t think reflects the price of it. The location of the hotel is good- there is a market very close by and the beach is nearby too, but the town isn’t very lively so for guests wanting a more relaxed experience this hotel is good. There is also a bus stop right outside which has a free Siam Park bus stop which was great for when me and my partner spent the day there! Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Since being refurbished it looks amazing and very modern. The staff were so lovely and very friendly. Everyone provided great service and everything was so clean which made the experience even better. Reception staff were very helpful. We only had breakfast included but the selection was good and food was nice. We had a pool view room and could see the sea which was lovely. The rooms are bigger than we expected which was a lovely surprise. The location was good and just a 2 minute walk from a couple restaurants, bars and shops along the beach Just a 5 minute taxi down to las americas which was perfect. I would definitely consider this hotel again in the future! Thank you for a great experience, it definitely made our holiday!

We spent five days with our whole family of nine and had an unforgettable vacation. We had a fantastic time, but the children had it even more. We want to thank all the staff for their excellent service: reception, cleaning, maintenance, cooks, waiters, gardener, lifeguard... And of course, all the entertainment staff and the kids' club who, from morning till night, were always making sure everyone had a great time, both children and adults, and always with a smile. Thank you so much for the little gift for my daughter; she loved it! We went all-inclusive, and we honestly have no complaints. The food—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was spectacular, and the pool bar was just as amazing; there was always food available. The pool area with the slides was incredibly clean, and the playground was large and beautiful. If I've missed anything, I apologize, but: We will definitely be back! Thank you!

My partner and I stayed for a week and we loved the hotel. Spacious and modern rooms, impeccable cleanliness, and beautiful views. The buffet was excellent with a good variety most days; it's a big plus that drinks are included. The activities were great fun, especially with staff like Alvaro who make everything easier and more enjoyable. I want to give a special mention to Henry; it's a pleasure to be served by people like him. I wish everyone had the same joy and positive energy. The only downside to the hotel is its location, as it's a bit far from beautiful beaches like Playa del Camisón or the entertainment area.

I stayed with my parents and daughter for four days, and the stay was fantastic. The hotel looks beautiful after its renovation, and all the staff were incredibly friendly in every way. I especially want to highlight the work of Guillermo, Fernando, Laura, Clara, Adrián, and Alexis in the buffet restaurant; they were all very professional. In the bar, I'd like to thank Fernando, Maikel, Gema, and especially Alejandro and Gema for their great professionalism, kindness, friendliness, and dedication. Alejandro and Gema are absolute stars and manage to get so much work done, always with a smile. I also want to mention the work of the entertainment team, especially Lucía and Laura. My daughter was delighted with them; they are very kind and have an excellent rapport with children. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

A renovated and well-maintained hotel with nice rooms and a great location for exploring the island. The staff is amazing; I don't think it would be the same without them. The entertainment team was fantastic; a big thank you to Lucia, Alvaro, and Jaime, who were lovely with the children and made a special gesture for them on our last day.

We are still here and thought the hotel was sort of ok. The pool is too small for the amount of guests. Its high season and we would expect a full hotel. However what happened yesterday was ridiculous. Part of the poolside area for loungers was closed off with no warning. The floor was being waterproofed which prevented the already cramped pool area even more. Any works like this should be done late afternoon not to inconvenience guests. When I spoke to reception the taller lady said, 'so when would you like it done?'. So rude so my service has dropped to 1. I've witnessed the staff being abrupt so to be honest. I wouldnt recommend this hotel. In season its cramped. Its kiddie friendly and the all full board option would appeal to families.

Very good rooms and food

The hotel is very clean and modern, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good variety of food, the beach is a short walk from the hotel. Check out is at 12, but we paid for late checkout, which was easily sorted out by with the help of amazing reception staff. Thanks for lovely holiday

Stayed for 5 nights all inclusive. Overall a really good hotel and for what you pay I struggle to find a real complaint. We arrived around 11 in the morning, weren’t able to check in which is completely understandable. Were able to change into swimwear and put our bags in one of the storage rooms to enjoy the pool while we waited. Pool area has plenty of loungers. However we went out of school time so I can imagine it will get more busy in the summer. Pool was okay probably small for the size of the hotel but nice cool water and no overall complaints. Rooms were absolutely lovely we were on the 11th floor facing the car park so had a view of the beach, harbour, los christianos town and the mountains. Beds were comfy. Balcony a good size and somewhere to dry clothes. Shower and bathroom also really nice. Plenty of storage for clothes as had 2 sets of draws and 2 areas to hang clothes. Small safe and fridge also in room as well as kettle and tea station. Pool bar was great; all inclusive need a token you get a cup and then san Miguel on tap, sangria and wine as well as soft drinks. Food from 11-6 I believe just your basic stuff like burgers and hotdogs with chips. Can get toasties and pastries and stuff like that also. Bar in the lobby was lovely, went during the start of World Cup so had that showing most if not all matches. Good drinks also and always smiley and lovely bar staff. Restaurant, breakfast was the same most days. Cold meats, bread, then hot things like sausages eggs etc, also a section for yogurt and cereal and stuff like that. Plenty of seats for the amount of time it’s open and never short of food as they keep it topped up. Only had lunch one day, had steaks and fresh cooked meats and fish, stuff like stew meatballs pasta etc. fresh pizza most days, salad and then puddings and soft serve ice cream where you could add sauces and toppings. Dinners changes must nights we weren’t there a lot but had a Chinese style night and English style night etc. I have absolutely no complaints it all tasted nice, plenty of space inside and outside to eat, food was always hot and sufficient options, clean and tidy, staff always welcoming and friendly, for a relatively low cost all inclusive the value is good for what you get. The only complaints we really had and this is us really thinking is that for most of our visit only 2 small lifts worked that you could just about fit 6 people in. Peak hours you’d have a wait as it’s 15 floors. Some days there were 3 lifts and those days were much much better. We just tended to avoid using them as soon as the entertainment ended or just before meal times as it got busy. The second complaint would be around checkout, we were allowed to stay until midday. However, the band gets cut when you checkout therefore you can’t access any food or drinks. Also had no specific area for changing minus one small changing room downstairs. If you have wanted a shower there was a small one in the toilets but it wasn’t the best. We just wish that when you checked out it didn’t feel as if that was it and they were done with you and you have access to nothing. Hotel is a great location 10 minutes from the beach 5 minutes from bars and restaurants and 5 minutes from the market. Small supermarket also 2 minute walk if that from the hotel so super convenient. Overall it was a lovely holiday, we had a great time and would 100% recommend. Great for families or couples like us. Close to activity’s like Siam park and boat trips. Food good for value. Great location. Friendly staff. Lovely rooms and decor around the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for six days with the whole family, and I have to say it was fantastic. The rooms were very clean. We had the all-inclusive package, and I must say the food was delicious. The service was spectacular. A special thank you to Fabián, one of the waiters in the restaurant, and to Álvaro, the children's entertainer, for their excellent work! We will definitely stay here again if we return to Tenerife.
