Emily Mercer Album Launch + Nicky Bray’s Musical Menagerie
About the event
Emily Mercer is a Manchester-based indie artist originally from the Suffolk coast, writing genre-defiant songs for over-thinkers, self-saboteurs and anyone still thinking about something they said in 2016. Her music unravels the stories we tell ourselves – one piano-led confession at a time. Her sound blends indie-pop hooks, jazz-inspired harmony and classic piano songwriting into something nostalgic, off-centre, and quietly sincere. Mercer is set to release her debut album ‘Read Aloud’ on September 18th, 2026, along with her first UK tour. Join Emily and her full band to celebrate the album release. Support comes from musical mischief-maker Nicky Bray’s Musical Menagerie.
