About this place The Harp, Covent Garden

The Harp at 47 Chandos Place is a small traditional pub between Covent Garden and Charing Cross, a couple of minutes from Trafalgar Square. It's well known for real ale and cider and was named CAMRA's national Pub of the Year in 2010. It's a mainstream, gay-friendly pub, not a gay bar. The downstairs bar is long and narrow and packs out after work, and the drinkers often spill onto the pavement. The upstairs room is calmer. Google rates it 4.6 from more than 3,700 reviews. Food is limited to pub snacks such as sausages, so eat elsewhere. Soho's gay bars on Old Compton Street are about ten minutes' walk north.

Had a great time at the Harp. London noob here but best place I found for cask beer! Conor was awesome and helped find the perfect beer for the night. I'll be back!
